For over three decades that Julio Quaresma has had many solo and collective exhibitions and retrospectives in reputable Museums and Galleries, and numerous Art Institutes Museums in Portugal and around the world.
Apart from prestigious Portuguese Museums and Art Galleries, Quaresma’s paintings were well received abroad. Bringing light to innovative visual artists, most of Quaresma’s paintings were captured in Institute of Valencià d`Art Modern (Valencia/Spain), Centro Dragão do Mar de Arte e Cultura (Fortaleza, Ceará/ Brazil), Estado de Pernambuco Museum (Recife/ Brazil), America Latina Memorial (São Paulo/Brazil), Óscar Niemayer Museum (Curitiba, Paraná/ Brasil), Huambo Museu (Angola), Boricua College (New York).
Quaresma´s artistic work was also represented in prestigious and collective exhibitions and biennals in Asia – China; America - USA, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Argentine, Brasil; Europe – Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Finland; and Africa- Angola and S.Tomé e Principe.
The End of the World Biennal (Ushuaia/ Argentine), Beijing OLYMPIC GAMES Arte y Deporte Exhibition (Beijing/ China), Judite Galleries (New York/ USA), Belas Artes de Gravina Museum (Alicante/ Spain), Galeria d’Art Marabelló (Barcelona/ Spain), Sallon D’Autonne (Paris/ France) are some to be mentioned.
Strengthening his presence and reputation, Julio Quaresma’s most recent work The Game Of The World or The World Game or The Game With the World or The World With the Game, will be displayed in 2012 London OLYMPIC GAMES (London, UK).
His art is collected by major corporations and private collectors.
